The message is clear in Trump’s new budget.  Federal priorities lie in increased military spending and wall construction, while cutting protections for the environment, international diplomacy, education, aid for the poor, and the arts. $2.6 billion to begin building the wall on the Mexican border and $1.5 billion for expanded detention,
