Dozens of Humpback whales are being spotted breaching simultaneously in the San Francisco Bay this morning, to surprise and joy of many onlookers. 

He actually said, “I’ve been Mayor This Whole Time Anyway.” The political machine that Brown built, and has run for the past half century, has given San Francisco every mayor since he left the big office at City Hall. Gavin Newsom, Ed Lee, and London Breed have all been anointed by Brown himself. Another of his former protégés, Kamala Harris, is even Vice President of United States.

Within The Explorer’s Guild there are rankings for officers, merit badges, hundreds of Captains Log notebooks chronicling the last nearly 10 years of The Guild. What’s special about this group is that they are creating community in a fun way which doesn’t take life too seriously while also creating so much fun that it creates a collective glue that holds people together and allows people to feel like they can be part of the guild in their own way.

I really only like going to church in San Francisco.  In other cities, the churches are probably full of priests, pastors, and prophets.  But I’m rarely looking for that kind of performance. In San Francisco, you can get a nice sound bath at Grace Cathedral, Hunky Jesus and Foxy Mary
