FREE Appetizers at Muguboka
Muguboka has everything I look for in a Korean restaurant. When I first picked up the menu, I was like, “Wait, why is this bibimbap $20?” Then, after I ordered it anyway, my waitress brought out a huge assortment of complimentary starters including kimchee, bean sprouts, anchovies, and literally at least nine other plates of stuff I had never seen before. And then, while I was going to town on some sort of delicious pickled thing, my waitress brought out a pot of steaming tofu soup – also on the house and seemingly for no apparent reason! Say whaaa?
For the record, my bibimbap was incredible, but the real standout was all the FREE food. Also, everyone who works here is nice and the chef comes out of the kitchen to bid you adieu. Let me move in?

this post is awff.
is there a korean restaurant out there that does not serve banchan, the side dishes? i havent found it yet.
i have also had tofu soups and egg roasts brought out, gratis, after placing a large order.
the main point? korean food is awesome. but muguboka is hardly special (or special for broke-asses) in this respect.
