Elon Musk is still considered the world’s wealthiest person with a net worth of $274.9 Billion, but he’s a Texan now.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is projected to become the world’s first “trillionaire” by 2026, but he’s not a Californian, he’s a Washingtonian who is currently trying to set up residency on Mars, but only because Elon is better at it.

This is the list of richest people in California this year, it’s a shocker that 18 out of 20 are white dudes, and 15 out of 20 reside in the Bay Area. 3 out of the top 4 are Googlers, apparently, that sweet, sweet, search monopoly really continues to pay off.

The below data is from Forbes, they really fucking love rich people, and these billionaires are ranked by net worth as of September 6, 2022. Forbes lists 177 billionaires in California in total.
