The FBI and DOJ Says There’s No Epstein Client List… Really?

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

After years of speculation, memes, and late-night Reddit rabbit holes, the FBI and Department of Justice have officially said: there’s no Jeffrey Epstein “client list.” You know — the supposed roster of elite figures who may have participated in or enabled Epstein’s trafficking operation. According to the government, that list simply doesn’t exist.

But let’s be honest… Does anyone really believe that?

If Attorney General Pam Bondi is to be believed, the answer is no. Back in February, Pam Bondi publicly acknowledged the existence of Epstein’s client list

Maybe she misspoke. Sure, that’s all technically plausible. But it also sounds a lot like bureaucratic deflection.

So when the government says, “Sorry, there’s nothing to see here,” it raises eyebrows. A lot of them.

Let’s not forget: the same DOJ signed off on a now-infamous sweetheart deal for Epstein back in 2008. The same FBI allegedly mishandled victim reports for years. And we’re supposed to trust them now when they say there’s nothing deeper going on?

To be clear, protecting the identities of victims is important. But the way these agencies have treated this entire case from Epstein’s highly suspicious jail “suicide” to the glacial pace of document releases — has done very little to inspire public confidence.

And while Maxwell has been convicted and a few names have been tossed around in unsealed court documents, the big fish still swim free. The Clintons, the Gates, the Prince Andrews — all of them deny wrongdoing, and none have been seriously scrutinized by law enforcement.

And then there’s Elon Musk’s bombshell tweet saying that President Trump himself was involved in Epstein’s pedophilic activities.

So when officials tell us there’s no list, maybe that’s technically true. But it’s also beside the point. The government’s claim that there’s no “client list” rests on semantics. No one expected a Word doc labeled “Perverts & Billionaires – Final Draft.” But flight logs? Witness statements? Video surveillance from Epstein’s properties? Black books full of names and phone numbers? Those are real, and many of them remain sealed, redacted, or buried in legal limbo.

There was a network. There were clients. There was a system designed to protect and enable Epstein for decades. And unless the government shows real accountability — not just vague statements and sealed file, people are going to keep asking the obvious question:

What and who are they hiding?
