Lobbying Loophole Gets Ed Lee $100k in Travelling Expenses
A current loophole in our law allows lobbyist to bundle contributions and use go-betweens to pay San Francisco politicians. For example, companies like Airbnb & Uber paid for Ed Lee to go on a trip to China in 2013, and since he’s been in office he’s flown all over the world on pay to play lobbying money. In fact as mayor Ed Lee has received more than $100K in gifts and travel expenses using this loophole. San Francisco voters have had enough, and that is why voting yes on Proposition T is so important, let’s stop at least some of the corruption in our government. Here is the proposed ballot measure that lists all the bundled cash donations given to SF politicians: Proposition T via Ethics Commission
